General Description

Work with our technical team to provide mechanical support towards the following product lines: TSLOTS, Troax, Rollon, Jokab and other mechanical products. Assemble mechanical parts, pieces, and products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications and drawings. Obtain parts and build assemblies utilizing specified work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and production orders, thereby ensuring quality is maintained on a wide variety of industrial products.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret production work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and quality plans
  • Assemble industrial products based on mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications
  • Operate various tools including pneumatic/power tools, lathe, mill, brake, sheer, and drill press
  • Perform MIG and stick welding
  • Paint and prepare product for finishing
  • Locate, identify, and retrieve components for production
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and follow instruction set forth in MSDS
  • Participate in regular inventory count and manage the inventory
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Travel to client's site to conduct assessment or installation

Requirements and Skills

  • Mechanical assembly experience required
  • Experience reading and navigating through E-drawings, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
  • Thorough understanding of assembly and safety procedures and standards
  • Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule assignments
  • Possess keen attention to detail and able to multitask
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently
  • Lift Truck Certification and Safety Training would be an asset

Educational Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
