The Role

Our client focuses on the distribution of mining products and water products across Canada and the United States. In the search for a Shipper/Receiver for the branch in Victoria. The shift times are from 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities

• Receives and stocks product in the warehouse
• Picks customer orders from inventory stock and completes to meet productivity and accuracy standards
• Loads and unloads orders/shipments
• Pick-up and delivery of goods for the company
• Completes all paperwork and documentation required
• Ensures yard and warehouse is clean and organized
• Complies with health and safety measures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class 5 Drivers License.
• Minimum 1+ years of related experience
• Forklift experience (certification is an asset)
• A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Had success working in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Organizational skills, communication skills and attention to detail
• The skills to use of a variety of technology and new computer applications
• The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 55 pounds
• The ability to work in inclement weather as required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Computer literate
• A strong commitment to health and safety

Compensation

• $21/$23.50 an hour to start + annual bonus (after probation)
