POSITION PURPOSE:

NetNation is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to lead our efforts to deliver our value proposition to leading service providers – generate incremental recurring revenue, significantly reduce churn, and increase the success of your small business customers. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated communications specialist with multi-channel experience in a technology industry; comfortable with developing practical and efficient programs to deliver differentiated and compelling messages across all available mediums. The ability to think strategically, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done are key in this high-visibility role. The Marketing Communications Specialist plays a vital role in driving the financial success of NetNation by clearly positioning our products in the market, creating engaging content, and developing effective sales enablement programs. This position requires strong consensus building skills and aligns closely with Product Management, Corporate Marketing and Sales.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clearly articulate a compelling and powerful value proposition to target distribution and technology partners across all NetNation marketing channels.
  • Responsible for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and equipping the Sales and Marketing teams with compelling product and services portfolio messaging.
  • Own all aspects of Marketing Communications, from strategy to execution (launch/GTM, messaging, content, online, social media, sales enablement, events, PR, co-marketing, etc.).
  • Analyze and own the business drivers and performance metrics related to channel partners and retail brands, driving growth through effective marketing programs.
  • Create, communicate, and drive consensus of marketing strategy with senior Leadership and partner organizations.
  • Be an advocate, champion and thought leader for the NetNation channel organization, inside and outside of the business.
  • Be a passionate promoter of NetNation culture and values externally and throughout NetNation.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Superior writing and content development skills.
  • A proven track record that shows over-achievement of objectives and demonstrable results over a period of 5 or more years.
  • Experience owning multi-channel communications across social media, web presence, thought leadership, collateral, events, public relations, business development and lead generation campaigns.
  • Communication—ability to tailor communications with authority; effectively develop and deliver presentations with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience designing, deploying and managing the performance of lead generation programs – paid and organic across multiple venues including Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and more.
  • Strategic Thinking—ability to systematically approach company objectives and market challenges and creatively match to available solution paths; brainstorm with other team members.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and Canva skills to add immediate value to internal and customer-facing deliverables.
  • Creativity and flexibility to implement new marketing communication strategies
