Job Title: Senior Property Accountant
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Position Summary:
As a Senior Property Accountant you will oversee the financial management of a designated condominium portfolio. Your role will include ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and collaborating with property managers to support community success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of 15-20 condominium properties, including shared facilities.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and supporting schedules) by the 20th of each month.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure precise financial records.
- Prepare, post, and reconcile recoveries and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit working papers.
- Process owner account updates and electronic funds transfers for common element fees.
- Support additional projects or assignments as needed to achieve team goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional, clear, and timely communication.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Strong focus on customer service with excellent communication skills.
- 3-4 years of Residential Property Accounting experience
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager 7S software is an asset.
- Adaptable, friendly, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
