Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and reliable Framer's Assistant to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn about the craft of framing and construction. As a Framer's Assistant, you will work closely with skilled framers to assist in the preparation and assembly of structures, including walls, roofs, and floors for residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the construction of wooden frames for buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
• Prepare and organize tools and materials for daily tasks.
• Help load and unload framing materials at job sites.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with setting up scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment needed for projects.
• Support framers with tasks such as installing beams, studs, joists, and other framing components.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and ensure project quality.
• Must be able to work with framers to nail down floors and walls together

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior framing experience required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to take direction.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Previous construction or labor experience is a bonus, but not required
