Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction of wooden frames for buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Prepare and organize tools and materials for daily tasks.
- Help load and unload framing materials at job sites.
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist with setting up scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment needed for projects.
- Support framers with tasks such as installing beams, studs, joists, and other framing components.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and ensure project quality.
- Must be able to work with framers to nail down floors and walls together
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior framing experience required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong work ethic and ability to take direction.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Previous construction or labor experience is a bonus, but not required
