Position: Electrical Design Engineer with EPLAN
Location: Cambridge, ON (Onsite)
Position Type: 12+ Months ContractExperience:
At least 5 years experience in electrical control systems design, preferably in the industrial automation field. Experience with EPLAN and AutoCAD and keeping abreast of leading-edge technology is essential.Skills Required:

• Safety Standards like Life Science or Machine Safety Standards e.g. NFPA/CSA/IEC Standards/ NEC/UL508A
• Previous experience of Life Science Industry (Applicable only for Cambridge, ON location), Operational awareness, Functional Safety
• Shall have the detail knowledge of control panel design and is aware of SCCR and Heat Load Calculations etc. and which includes detailed electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, cable routing diagrams, panel layouts, bills of materials.

• Shall have the Software skills of E-plan and AutoCAD Latest Versions. Macro Data portal etc
• Shall have the ability to use the E-Plan / AutoCAD software tools fully e.g. Report generation, Macro creations BOM Terminal reports etc.
• Shall be able to do the selections of the switchgears and panel components as required for the system.
• Shall be able Verify that electrical design package is complete as per standard specifications, Code of Business Conduct and be able provide training to customer as required.
