A leading civil construction company in Prince Edward Island is looking for an experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations at their facility. This role will manage technicians, parts staff, and welders, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shop operations and team performance
• Assign and monitor repair and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot and assist technicians with repairs
• Ensure all repairs meet OEM specifications and quality standards
• Develop processes to improve safety, productivity, and cost-efficiency
• Coordinate service appointments and dispatch road technicians
• Oversee parts inventory and warranty coverage
• Maintain tools, equipment, and shop safety

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of shop management or related experience
• Heavy Duty Mechanic diploma or Red Seal certification (asset)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
