Diva International Inc. (“DIVA”) is looking for a Regional Sales Manager – North America. This role is responsible for driving and optimizing sales performance across a designated geographic region. This leadership role ensures the execution of strategic sales plans, the development and nurturing of strong client relationships, and the consistent achievement of revenue targets. The position plays a crucial role in fostering a high-performance culture within the regional sales team through effective coaching, goal setting, and support.
The role allows for remote work in Ontario, Canada. Travel may be required on occasion. Must be legally eligible for employment and reside in Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities:
General Duties
  • Own relationships with key customers and brokers, including regular and relevant communications to maintain, strengthen, and grow these partnerships over time.
  • Deliver tailored presentations for line and business reviews, with marketing support.
  • Accountable to meet all revenue and profitability targets related to assigned accounts, including forecasting for key accounts with a high level of accuracy.
  • Act as main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring effective cross-functional co­ operation to ensure sales plan, budgets, marketing budgets, contracts, visual and in-store guidelines are executed.
  • Working closely with the Head of Sales (or senior management) to prepare strategies to maintain and grow Diva International business across assigned key retailer accounts that include the positioning strategy/plan, business case rationale, risks, ensuring SharePoint documentation of key plans and account activity.
  • Maintain access to all systems required to manage and operate key retailer partnerships, specifically owning all retailer portals related to "non-broker" managed accounts.
  • Attend any senior planning or strategic meetings that are requested by either Head of Sales or senior management positions.
  • Work in accordance with the Diva International Inc. Quality Policy and B Corp set of standards.

Execution
  • In partnership with Trade Marketing Manager/Marketing team and Sales team counterparts, create and execute ROI positive promotional programs direct with retailer or through our distributor/broker partners.
  • In partnership with the Trade Marketing Manager/Marketing team and Sales team, advise in any in-store marketing materials such as, but not limited to, PDQs, digital trade ads and any and all other marketing materials related to retail.
  • Participate in feedback for retailer presentations, and customizing slides as needed. Also, coordinate with brokers as needed to finalize and approve marketing content for sales decks.
  • Negotiate contracts/agreements for assigned customers, with strategic oversight and approval from Head of Sales (or senior management).
  • Oversee, approve, and communicate required NetSuite updates related to any promotions, key opportunities and other discretionary activity for assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for management of opportunity and promotional planner for assigned accounts and coordinating with relevant broker partner.
  • Manage inbound leads and when aligned with sales team priorities, open new channels of business (review with Head of Sales or senior management) to determine go/no-go).
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences as required.

Budget & Performance Tracking
  • Own annual planning and forecasting process for assigned accounts.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, with accountability to revenue and profit objectives.
  • Provides inputs for monthly revenue & demand forecasts for assigned accounts, leveraging wholesale & POS sales, as well as syndicated data to ensure highly accurate projections.
  • Accountable to accurate planning and budgeting for Retailer/Distributor charge backs and deductions, supporting the dispute process as needed with accounting and broker partners.
  • Provide timely feedback to Head of Sales (or senior management) regarding account performance and any recommended course correction actions.
  • Work within parameters of company policies and procedures and other practices.

Qualifications:
  • University degree or College diploma in business, marketing, economics, or related field or equivalent of 5+ years of experience.
  • Previous experience in sales and demonstrating excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in CPG account management/selling.
  • Experience and/or comfortable working with government institutions on medical device regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions/recommendations through precedents and research.
  • Able to execute a strategic comprehensive business plan tailored to the needs of both company and consumer.
  • Ability to multitask skills, handle various relationships, projects and tasks.
  • Strong drive for results and customer focus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Proficiency with computers and computer programs, familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Valid passport without restrictions for travelling across borders.
