Wage: $150K - $175K + hourly rate based on billable hours

Experience & Qualifications:

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Tech
• Extensive hands on experience combined with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Must have familiarity with mining industry
• Through knowledge of of maintenance and repair of hydraulic mining equipment
• Komatsu, Cat/Terex and Hitachi experience
• Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively connect with customers
• Project management and quote preparation
• Computer proficiency
• Valid drivers licence
• Microsoft Office, Teams, and CMMS knowledge
• Ability to travel within Canada 60% - 70% of the time with some international travel as well
• Drug, alcohol and criminal check required for some sites

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Operation of assigned field based projects
• Supervise a variety trades people to maintain, repair, rebuild all types of heavy mining equipment
• Efficiently utilize available workforce and ensure the safe working of all
• Work out of Spruce Grove Alberta office with travel to sites
• Perform job observations, site inspections and set safety standards and expectations
• Provide daily updates to customers and management team.
• Take corrective action for improvement when needed with a proactive approach
• Lead toolbox talks and monthly/ weekly safety meetings - BE A SAFETY LEADER
• Perform other related duties as assigned
