Job Title: Director of Business Development

About the Opportunity:

As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities in the commercial real estate and office design space. Youll work closely with leadership teams, brokers, landlords, ownership groups, and property managers to drive growth and expand our market presence. With the support of in-house planning, estimating, and design teams, you will help move opportunities forward, advising clients and stakeholders at every step of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working directly with startups to enterprise-level clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, landlords, property managers, and ownership groups.
• Lead client meetings, provide expert advice, and tour potential office spaces for projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project development, leveraging technical expertise to move deals forward.
• Drive sales and meet performance targets, reporting directly to the VP of Sales.
• Be highly active in the market, consistently prospecting and developing new relationships to fuel pipeline growth.

Qualifications:

• A proven track record of exceeding business development and sales targets.
• Strong business development and prospecting skills, with an aptitude for closing deals.
• Excellent client service and account management experience.
• Deep understanding of the commercial office market and lease transactions.
• Established network within the commercial real estate industry, including brokers, landlords, and property managers.
• 3+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry (brokerage, landlord, design, construction, project management, commercial furniture).
