Our Property Claims team is looking for someone who is passionate about empowering others through engaging and interactive training. Join our team as a Technical Training Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Property team members.

You will provide dynamic coaching and mentoring, enhance onboarding processes across multiple platforms and deliver targeted training to address performance gaps. Become part of our mission to elevate our Claims training initiatives and drive continuous improvement!

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and administer the initial training program to all new Property team members, following the training manual.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to new Property hires' first days on the desk and provide follow-up remedial training as identified by the team or by leadership.
  • Continuously improve new hire training for the team, including format, content, and delivery in consideration of the feedback of leadership and audit.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of departmental training initiatives, such as customer experience, sales, and negotiation training.
  • Collaborate with external experts or consultants for specialized training sessions, updates on industry best practices, or for development of advanced training materials.

What You Will Need:

  • 5+ years of Property claims handling is required.
  • University, college or equivalent post-secondary degree/diploma is required.
  • Prior training experience is preferred.
  • Experience in instructional design is considered an asset.
  • Ability to design, develop, and update training materials and programs based on department needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear & concise training delivery and material creation.
  • Technically savvy - having familiarity with training software, e-learning platforms, and Microsoft Suite applications.

Location: This role has the flexibility to work remotely and in office, with the expectation of attendance in our Cambridge Ontario office one to two times per month.
