AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

LOCATION: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

AircraftWorks Ltd is a Calgary based AMO part of the Take Flight Group of companies primarily supporting the maintenance needs of Air Partners Corp. We maintain a fleet of corporate jets and turboprops that require a high level of technical skill. The ideal candidate will have previous experience that demonstrates mechanical aptitude and has completed a TCCA approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering college diploma or degree.

BENEFIT PACKAGE DETAILS:

The pay rate ranges from $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 dependent on experience. Our benefit program includes:

  • Hawker 800XP Primus 2000

AME APPRENTICE DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Inspect, efficiently troubleshoot, and repair our aircraft in in the most cost effective manner possible,
  • Use your sense of good judgement to work carefully and assess risk of error. Stop and ask for guidance when not 100% confident int eh task at hand,
  • Study, know and use company procedures to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest standard,
  • Proactively identify risk and take mitigating action to eliminate maintenance induced damage,
  • Provide our customers legendary service by recognizing and acting on opportunities to meet their needs,
  • Model safe behaviors by assessing and mitigating risk where ever possible,
  • Contribute to our SMS program by proactive reporting and assisting with the initial / immediate corrective action where applicable.
  • Work closely within the maintenance group to achieve daily and long term goals,
  • Assist our Operational Support Team with towing aircraft and wing-walking, and
  • Uphold a world class standard that represents the AircraftWorks brand.

OUR MUST HAVES:

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineering college diploma,
  • Willingness to work non standard hours on short notice,
  • Valid driver's licence,
  • Ability to hold a restricted area pass (RAIC),
  • M1 licence & experience would be an asset;
  • A desire to learn and be the best,
  • A desire to work on corporate aircraft where attention to detail is not just a goal, but a minimum standard, and
