- Supervising the daily operation of the elevator
- Managing the quality control and blending of grain
- Supervising Facility Assistants to ensure business needs are executed safely, efficiently and profitably
- Managing the facility safety program and actively working to create a strong safety culture
- Overseeing food safety compliance
- Managing regular maintenance, scheduling and repair on facility equipment
- Supporting the procurement of grain and sales of crop inputs
- Ensure reasonable business practices are followed consistently
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the operation of a grain elevator
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the grain industry including grading factors, elevator equipment and processes, and effective product storage management
- Practical knowledge in mechanical repair
- Experience in team management or supervision, demonstrating effective leadership abilities
- Proficient computer skills with aptitude for learning and adapting to new software applications
