We are building a team to support a client in the community. 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm to 7am. Two day shifts and one overnight 7 days a week.

Job Summary:
You will part of a team providing 24 hour care for a woman in her home. This client has dementia and is high risk for falls. Communication could be a challenge as client speaks Portuguese at times but daughter available to translate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, nail /skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices
• Provide companionship and respite services
• light housekeeping

REQUIREMENTS

• PSW certified or equivalent (DSW, 2nd year Nursing student, International Nurse)
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile
• live within a comfortable commuting distance of this position

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
