Summary:

Manages and helps grow the operations of the Pro-Tech Valve Sales business unit. Ensuring all processes are Sox compliant and completed per the narratives and assisting with internal and external audits. Reporting and administrative function to Manager and various team members. Identification of potential opportunities in product development, market penetration, expansion of market share and processes. Assisting customers with their needs and requirements. Assisting in development of best practices of products, services, and delivery. Monitor and evaluate competitor activities. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships. Periodic travel, including to Internationally as needed. Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasting. Responsibilities may include employee management and development, inventory management, sales, maintenance, operations, service, HSE, quality assurance and training, planning and budget management. Aligning the company with goals with the changing market. Job levels are determined by geography, revenue, job proficiency or experience, product/service system complexity or some combination of these factors. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop, direct, and manage operations forecast, budgeting and planning processes
  • Assist with business growth including identifying new market opportunities, the expansion of current market share and offering of additional product and services
  • P&L oversight for weekly, monthly, and quarterly managerial reporting, project financial estimates, forecasts, operations financial performance, and operational goals
  • Ensure processes are completed per Sox narratives
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Direct managers to ensure successful attainment of all operational metrics
  • Leverage Supply Chain performance
  • Lead process improvement initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence
  • Actively contribute to organizational planning and strategy development
  • Liaison with Corporate legal counsel on relevant matter
  • Participate and promote Forum's HSE program and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Management to help support and achieve a culture that encourages and promotes safety, diversification, inclusion, and growth
  • Promote and adhere to all company policies and Forum's Core Values
  • Lead, promote and abide by FET's Health, Safety and Environment program.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in an operational area
  • Capable of expanding the business unit through organic and additional market share
  • Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
  • Ability to assist the business unit through internal and external audits
  • Knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in operations
  • 3+ years Sox Compliance experience preferred
  • 3+ years business development experience with measurable success
  • Industry experience considered an asset.
