Position: Intermediate Cognos Developer
Location: Hybrid, Toronto 2x per week in office
Structure: 4 month contract, plus possible extension
Pay: Up to $62.00 p/h INC.

Job Responsibilities:
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex Congo's report components and applications.
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Must have:
4+ years of experience in the software development field using Congo's reporting, Experience working in Agile teams.
1+ years IBM OpenPages Congo's development, Experience in COGNOS Version 11and/or 12 report development.
Creating, enhancing, and maintaining Framework Manager models to support business requirements (5+ years).
Designing and developing Congo's BI reports using Report Studio with data drill-down and slice-and-dice options (5+ years).
Metadata creation, report specifications, integration, test planning, testing, and implementation support.
Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) skills in database DB2 or Oracle.
Understanding of server technologies (Websphere, Internet Information Server, Apache, WebLogic), operating systems (Windows 2008R2/2012, AIX, Linux), and server security
Nice to have:
Experience integrating third-party vendor products.
