Supportive Recovery Case Planner/Supervisor

The Prince George Native Friendship Center Ketso Yoh Men's Shelter is seeking to hire a full time Supportive Recovery Case Planner/Supervisor to work with clients in the Alcohol and Drug Supportive Recovery Program. You will oversee the applications, screening and admission to the Program. You will assist clients to develop a personalized case plan that identifies and removes triggers, brings forward new lifestyles and develops healthy living in a holistic manner.


Scope of Position:

  • You will work Sunday through Saturday (afternoons), as well as be available after hours for emergency on call
  • Assist clients to secure medical, dental and other health needs
  • Assist clients to secure emotional, environmental and other supports needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12
  • First Aid, Food Safe, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Suicide Intervention
  • Valid Driver's License - Class 4 required, or willing to attain prior to expiration of probationary period
  • Basic computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with high risk clientele
  • Knowledge of the Indigenous Culture
  • Clear criminal record
  • Preference will be given to qualified applicants of Indigenous ancestry. In accordance with section 41 of the BC Human Rights Code.
  • Wages $25/hr. - $27/hr. based on experience and qualifications.
