Job Summary:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant specializing in CyberArk architecture
and delivery plays a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing CyberArk Privileged
Access Management (PAM) solutions for our clients. This position requires deep expertise in
CyberArk products, a strong understanding of IAM principles, and the ability to work
collaboratively with clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
CyberArk Architecture & Design:
- Lead the design and architecture of CyberArk PAM solutions tailored to client
requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. - Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and translate them into
technical designs and solutions. - Develop and document architecture blueprints, solution diagrams, and technical
specifications. - Have in-depth knowledge of the capabilities and functionality of core Cyberark
software suites such as PAM, Access, EPM, CEM, and Secrets Manager.
Implementation & Delivery:
- Manage the end-to-end implementation of CyberArk solutions, including installation,
configuration, and integration with existing systems. - Ensure the successful delivery of CyberArk projects by overseeing project timelines,
resource allocation, and risk management. - Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure a seamless
deployment. - Understanding of the Cyberark Blueprint methodology for ensure overall project
success.
Client Consulting & Advisory:
- Provide expert consulting services to clients, offering guidance on best practices for
privileged access management, compliance, and security posture improvement. - Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients on CyberArk solutions and
IAM principles. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on
IAM and CyberArk-related matters.
Support & Maintenance:
- Provide post-implementation support and maintenance for CyberArk environments,
including upgrades, patches, and system enhancements. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CyberArk products, ensuring minimal
disruption to client operations. - Assist in the development of support documentation and knowledge transfer to client
teams.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in IAM, PAM, and CyberArk
technologies. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of IAM methodologies, tools, and processes
within the organization. - Mentor and guide junior consultants, sharing knowledge and best practices in CyberArk
architecture and delivery.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a
related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with at least 5
years specializing in CyberArk architecture and delivery. - Proven track record of successfully delivering complex CyberArk projects in diverse
environments. - Experience with CyberArk Core PAS (Privileged Account Security), AAM (Application
Access Manager), EPM (Endpoint Privilege Manager), and CPM (Credential Provider
Manager) is required. - Familiarity with delivering Cyberark or other IAM or other PAM solutions in a
consulting role.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in CyberArk architecture, implementation, and administration.
Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., SSO, MFA, LDAP,
SAML, OAuth). - Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Experience with integration of CyberArk with other security tools (e.g., SIEM, IAM
platforms).
Certifications:
- CyberArk Guardian certification is highly desirable.
Additional certifications in IAM (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a considered an asset.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate
complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Pre-sales consulting skillset. The candidate will be comfortable with designing solutions
that support a customer's business expectations, and be capable of speaking to senior
decision makers as well as architects and engineering teams.
