Job Synopsis

The Program Coordinator for Hull Grooming will provide essential, high-level support to the Director of After Sales Operations in developing and implementing the new hull grooming program at GIT. This role is pivotal, focusing on tracking, scheduling, and coordinating all aspects of the program while keeping key stakeholders informed on the grooming status of each vessel with GIT coatings. As a foundational member of this initiative, the Program Coordinator will be instrumental from the program's inception through to its successful launch, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across all phases of the project.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with grooming partner companies, ensuring seamless program implementation from post-application through to the vessel's return to service.
  • Drive timely program execution by adhering to the predetermined schedule, proactively addressing any potential delays or adjustments.
  • Coordinate internally and with partner companies to monitor shipments, promptly resolving any delivery issues to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Maintain proactive, regular communication with customers to facilitate smooth program adoption and ensure they are well-informed throughout the process.
  • Address any customer concerns or challenges related to program adoption, ensuring a swift and satisfactory resolution to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for program improvement, sharing insights with Sales and Vessel Performance teams.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to continually improve and streamline grooming program operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and promote efficiency across all program-related tasks.
  • Keep detailed, accurate records of all program activities, including schedules, review meetings, warnings, footage reports, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on program metrics for Sales, Vessel Performance, and Operations teams, ensuring stakeholders are updated on program progress.
  • Develop, refine, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for post-sales activities to support consistent and effective program execution.

Academic Qualifications & Professional Experience

  • Relevant Experience: Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar administrative or coordinator role, with a preference for project-based work experience.
  • Maritime Industry Experience: Background in the marine industry with specialized knowledge in vessel performance and grooming is a valuable asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
