About this role

We are recruiting for a Helpdesk Support Analyst to join our Corporate IT team, based in Burnaby.

The Helpdesk Support Analyst is a key member of the Helpdesk team, the first point of contact for employees when they are looking for IT support.

Houle enterprise applications include JDE Enterprise One, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Microsoft SharePoint, Procore, and NetHelpdesk software.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
  • Setup, configure and maintain corporate equipment (workstations, printers)
  • Set up user accounts
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Build an internal knowledgebase with technical documentation
  • Maintain IT Equipment Inventory
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for the IT functions

Your experience and skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a technical help desk environment
  • Post secondary education in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong aptitude to pick up new technical skills
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment
  • A self-starter, but able to work in a team environment as well as independently

Salary range: $50,000-$65,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
