As we enter the launch of our groundbreaking commercial product in the heart of the data center revolution, it's an incredibly exciting time to join our team! We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Product Verification Specialist eager to make a significant impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role involves rigorously verifying Cerio's open infrastructure systems to ensure the highest quality and sustainability for data centers.
This hybrid role allows you to work from your Ottawa-area home office, with in-person collaboration at the Kanata office at least once a week; we are welcoming individuals to apply who are in commuting distance to our Kanata, ON office.
What you will do
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, ensuring alignment with system specifications while identifying and documenting issues for continuous improvement
- Design automated test scripts (Python, Bash) and add to existing frameworks to increase efficiency and test coverage
- Conduct performance and stress tests to assess system capabilities, identify bottlenecks, and ensure product stability under various workloads
- Use tools such as Wireshark and Curl to analyze network traffic, debug APIs, and optimize network performance
- Validate GPU performance across benchmarks, AI workloads, video processing, and HPC applications; optimize GPU utilization, memory, and power consumption
- Evaluate storage performance (throughput, latency, IOPS) and optimize configurations for reliability and efficiency
- Create Customer Acceptance Test Plans, provide technical support during trials, and collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve issues and ensure product success
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience testing software and hardware products
- Strong experience in test planning, execution, and automation
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with performance testing and network analysis tools such as Wireshark and Curl
- Familiarity with GPU performance benchmarking and optimization
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the experience of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills, with a knack for collaborating across teams and supporting clients
- Bonus if you bring: Optical testing experience, expertise with Ansible, DaVinci Resolve, Unreal Engine, TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
