Key Responsibilities:
- Survey Execution: Perform and oversee surveying tasks in both field and office environments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Preparation and review of fieldwork data before and after task completion, maintaining consistency with project requirements.
- Data Management: Conduct quality checks on collected data to meet project specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision. Prepare comprehensive survey reports for the creation of as-built drawings.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support surveyors and assistants, promoting their professional growth within the survey team. Lead by example, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
- Survey Network Management: Establish, measure, and maintain the Survey Network as required. Collaborate with other surveyors to ensure consistent standards across project phases.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of survey operations. Develop and promote new methodologies to enhance survey accuracy and efficiency.
- Resource Stewardship: Handle company equipment and materials responsibly, adhering to safety and procedural guidelines. Maintain equipment in optimal working condition to ensure accurate results.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: A postgraduate and/or bachelor's degree in Geodetic, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is essential
- Experience: 15-20 years in survey civil works, particularly on major projects, with significant experience leading and managing survey teams.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with advanced survey equipment, including Laser Scanners, Total Stations, GNSS receivers, and Digital Levels.
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in Civil 3D and Point Cloud software (e.g., Cyclone).
- Specialized Knowledge: Experience in underground works and civil construction methods is highly advantageous.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with an ability to interact effectively across various departments and management levels.
