Compensation: $128,463 to $160,579 per annum, based on experience

Additional Information: The successful candidate will be required to work in person at the Stride Capital office currently in the SW quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. This is a permanent full time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We're looking for a Leader of Leasing Operations to support our Stride Capital team at our office in Calgary, Alberta.

Job Summary: This position contributes to Stride's overall corporate objectives through providing leadership in the management and oversight of regular/daily operations and functions, through successful strategic planning and implementation.

Critical Aspects:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong team building skills and ability to motivate others
  • Highly developed leadership skills with a willingness to collaborate
  • Senior Credit Adjudication Experience, preferably in the equipment leasing industry

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the credit, documentation, customer service and portfolio management functions of the company
  • Participate in, or delegate the hiring and training of new team members
  • Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders as required
  • Focus on strategic planning and analysis
  • Relationship management; and process development and implementation.
  • Lead status update meetings
  • Leadership in weekly L10 round tables
  • Oversee all team operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Manage budget and production agenda
  • Demonstrate accountability for overall successful operation of the team and expectations
  • Manage a diverse, multi-disciplined team of professionals
  • Set clear goals and objectives for reaching them
  • Delegate responsibilities to direct reports and provide guidance and direction
  • Liaise between other members of the leadership team
  • Evaluate the performance and productivity of direct reports, providing constructive feedback
  • Manage employee concerns through collaboration with HR
  • Contribute to the maximization of efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain acute awareness of market and industry trends

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Well - developed proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Aspire/LeasePlus

Requirements

  • 15 + years of progressively responsible experience in the lease industry;
  • 7 + years leadership or management experience

Asset:

  • BA / BS Business Management or related field
  • CPA/CMA
