Position Summary:
The Body Shop Manager is a professional and experienced individual with management and estimating experience who is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Body Shop Department. The primary responsibilities include providing support to the Body Shop Team, completing detailed collision estimates, and inspecting vehicles for quality assurance. The Body Shop Manager ensures repair procedure compliance, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the Body Shop Department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ability to write complete and detailed estimates related to collision damage
· Maintain operational efficiency by ensuring smooth processes
· Maintain KPI on Collision Repair Scorecard
· Inspect work completed by Body Shop Technicians to ensure a high level of quality is maintained
· Interview, hire, train, develop, and motivate the Body Shop Department team
· Manage and develop team through regular feedback and assist with annual performance reviews
· Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to maintain and improve Customer Service Index (CSI) ratings
· Handle elevated customer issues or complaints until resolution
· Identify and implement strategic opportunities for improvement in department processes and spending
· Establish and maintain a safe, positive work environment

· Previous experience in a management role is required

· Valid BC driver's license required
· ICBC Insurance experience is an asset
· Post-secondary training is an asset
· Commitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledge
Logistical Requirements:
We are currently hiring for our Dueck on Marine Body Shop, this is a full-time position that may require working extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.
Experience:
· estimating collision repairs: 3 years (required)
