Director of Operations - Mobile Patrol General Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead our Mobile Patrol division
- Complete a variety of complex and detail-oriented administrative tasks in support of mobile operations
- Support our Security Operations and Communication Centre Support (SOCC) External alarm responses
- Scheduling support where necessary
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute various reports both internally and externally
- Follow company guidelines and procedures
- Understand company file systems, operational equipment and uniform inventories
- Manage multiple simultaneous and competing priorities effectively and efficiently, within minimal supervision
- Complete data entry of confidential information in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow-up with and act as a liaison with various individuals, both internally and externally, at all levels of the organization with the highest level of customer service
- Assistance with the onboarding process for field employees using an Applicant Tracking system (ATS)
- Provide support and coverage to other roles within in the organization
- Be knowledgeable of the service intake process and distributing information to the operational team
- Perform in an accountable work environment
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 of years experience in mobile patrol/mobile guarding
- Minimum 3 of years experience in the security industry in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- The ability to learn new processes
- University degree preferred; will consider combination of other education and experience
- Eagerness and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to effectively use electronic devices and learn industry specific software
- Excellent computer skills assumed, including using Microsoft products
- BC Security license
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to jump in and assist
- Ability to be productive and efficient with limited supervision
- Ability to work with precision and accuracy while demonstrating attention to detail
- Strong organizational and planning skills in an office environment with fluctuating volumes and demands
- Ability to mitigate problems and find creative solutions
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task while prioritizing work
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to safely handle the physical elements of the position, which includes lifting (< 10 KG), bending, crouching, and reaching
- Fluent in English. Bilingual or multilingual is an asset
