Morison Insurance is currently seeking a driven Junior Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team of insurance professionals. No insurance experience is required - we will train you!

This role is on-site, based out of our Simcoe office.

Morison Insurance is a family-owned and operated business. Over the past 30 years, our company has grown from one office with 3 employees in downtown Hamilton, to 100 employees in 7 offices across Southern Ontario.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide review and recommendations on client policies
  • Develop and maintain solid client relationships
  • Assist in building the book of business through new sales
  • Handle incoming customer service calls
  • Retain clear and concise documentation and records
  • Ongoing commitment to expand your insurance industry knowledge
  • Some travel required to other offices

Skills You Will Need To Succeed

  • Excellent customer service skills & a desire to learn about insurance!
  • Proven Customer Service Skills
  • RIBO license must be obtained within the first 4 weeks of employment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Perseverance to meet retention goals
  • A positive and keen attitude to meet our customers' needs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle fast paced environments
  • French speaking would be an asset
