Job Summary:

Journeyman - Foreman Plumber(s) required immediately for project, installation and commercial mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures.
  • Installation of various types of mechanical equipment and associated piping.
  • Hydronic retro fits I.e. boilers, pumps,
  • Chiller retro fits
  • Heat pump re & re's
  • Air handler installs
  • Install NG (natural gas) distribution piping and size as per code.
  • Safe work practices, provide a high level of customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Have an active gas ticket, B ticket minimum
  • Steam or Plumbing ticket
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Foreman
  • Understanding of Mechanical Installation and local codes.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.
  • Running prime contractor projects
  • Working with multiple sub trades
  • Working with multiple Journeyman and Apprentice
  • Working with owners and consultants
  • Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.

Pay range: $18 to $52 per hour
