Back in Motion Rehab is now accepting applications for a Temporary Part-Time Program Assistant supporting our successful WarehouseAbilities Program.
Location: Richmond, BC with travel to BiM office locations, and off-site facilities
Status: Temporary Part-time starting November 6, 2024 to end of January 2025
House of Work: Monday to Friday 25 hours per week. (On occasion may be required to work evenings or weekends)
Wage Range: $21 - $23/hr
WarehouseAbilities provides comprehensive accessibility, employment readiness, and job search/maintenance support to address obstacles commonly faced by People with Multiple Barriers to Employment in the high-demand warehousing labour market.
The Program Assistant provides critical administrative support for the program by contacting and scheduling participants for appointments, coordinating components of the training including scheduling guest speakers and file set up.

QUALIFICATIONS1.Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) years in providing administrative support
- Strong comprehension of all Microsoft Office programs, database systems, and basic admin tasks
- Ability to obtain and pass CRC and Vulnerable Persons check
- Administrative diploma an asset
- Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills with an ability to work with diverse groups.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.
- Excellent at multi-tasking.
- Required
- Excellent organizational skills and effective time management.
- Experience with computer applications and databases.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work with diverse groups, including youth, persons with disabilities, recent immigrants and refugees.
- Good math skills.
- Experience meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with clients.
- Desirable Skills
- Experience working with a multicultural population and an understanding of employment barriers.
- Secondary language is an asset
