We have an interesting opportunity for an ambitious Digital Asset Lending - Director to join our company. A successful candidate will be someone who demonstrates a proactive and rigorous approach, and expertise within the world of digital assets.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Based ideally out of our Downtown Toronto Office (but willing to accommodate the right candidate remotely) the main responsibilities and expectations for the role are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute on an effective lending product development strategy
• Work with the Lending team to support the end to end origination and risk management process - determining product structures, negotiating commercial terms, identifying risks and ways to mitigate them, establish funding rates & sources of capital
• Ability to continue the buildout of the lending business, with a special focus on risk management framework, technology, and other infrastructure
• Proactively manage portfolio of clients, ensuring service level of the highest standards
• Provide competitive quotes to and execute trades with OTC clients and LPs
• Ensure strict adherence to trading limits whilst executing trade
• Assist other internal service partners with post trade analysis and risk management tasks
• Stay current with changes in system functionality, market structure changes, and industry developments

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in cryptocurrency lending business
• 3+ years of lending experience in any asset class
• An understanding of digital assets, distributed ledgers, blockchain technologies and crypto more broadly
• Understands existing and emerging trends in the cryptocurrency and digital assets space
• Degree in Math/Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent
