Purpose:

This role will support the Recovery & Remarketing department. What defines success in this role is the ability to work as a team utilizing strong technical and decision-making skills and the ability to embrace change. This is a high-volume fast-paced environment where you require strong attention to detail and the ability to adjust to the daily needs of the group

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for collecting recovery dollars on post charge off debts through settlements and short-term payment arrangements
  • Assessing files for legal action, agency assignments, and repossessions
  • Reviewing credit bureaus and customer financial circumstances to determine the right course of action to recover on outstanding debts
  • Collaborating with the repossession and remarketing team to help determine if repossession of missing vehicles worth pursuing
  • Reviewing charge off files to identify what actions have been conducted previously in order to determine the next course of action
  • Conducting skip trace activities to locate missing debtors and motor vehicles to maximize recoveries

Requirements:

  • Confident judgment
  • Organized with excellent time management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to constant change
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to cope with high pressure and tight deadlines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • 1-2 years experience in recovery and remarketing or relatable field
  • Intermediate skill set in Microsoft 365 & Adobe
