Job Description:


We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the design and execution of large institutional building projects, multi-residential developments, and low-rise housing in Nova Scotia. The Project Engineer will collaborate with the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent to ensure technical accuracy across a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of institutional, multi-residential, and low-rise housing projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for various project types.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure engineering standards are met across different developments.
• Provide technical support to construction teams and ensure project documentation is maintained.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering roles, with exposure to institutional, multi-residential, and low-rise housing projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies in Nova Scotia.
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility is an asset.
