- Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors across various terminals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Ensure regular service schedules and preventive maintenance protocols are followed to maintain fleet readiness
- Oversee the performance and efficiency of internal repair shops, ensuring work meets quality and compliance standards
- Coordinate with external vendors and manage relationships for timely, cost-effective repairs and parts procurement
- Conduct regular audits of fleet maintenance records and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Implement and improve fleet maintenance programs to enhance vehicle longevity and performance
- Monitor and control maintenance costs, working within budget to optimize repair and maintenance expenses
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management or a similar role, with strong leadership and supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of fleet maintenance procedures, equipment management, and safety standards
- Proficiency in maintenance software and MS Office; knowledge of fleet tracking software is an asset
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and vendors
- Experience in a unionized environment is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
