Position Summary:
The Manager, Project Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of infrastructure projects, including asset management, risk management, quality control, and project/facility operations. This role will report directly to the Group Head, Project Operations Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.
Contract Administration:
Manage contracts and subcontracts.
Resolve contract disputes and claims.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage project budgets.
Track project costs and expenses.
Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess project risks.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor and control project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in infrastructure project management, preferably in P3 infrastructure or large-scale capital projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Nice-to-Haves:
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
Facilities Management certifications (e.g., IFMA, FMP).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
