Job Summary
The Teacher is the educational leader in the classroom, responsible for implementing the school curriculum to maximize student learning. The role includes supervising and evaluating students while upholding the values, policies, and cultural understanding of Cree nation. Teachers must adhere to the Alberta Teacher Quality Standards (TQS) and engage in ongoing supervision and evaluation throughout the school year.

- Bachelor of Education Degree.
- Valid teaching certificate recognized by Alberta Education & Manitoba Education or be willing to apply for certificate
- Connection to or willingness to learn the Indigenous Language and Culture.

- Responding appropriately to student illness or injury.
- Maintaining accurate records for attendance, evaluations, and other required documentation.
- Using diverse teaching and assessment strategies.
- Participating in collaborative meetings and leadership roles.
- Promoting positive behavior, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Engaging with parents through home visits and establishing rapport.
- Participating in extracurricular activities and performing additional duties as assigned.
