Salary: $60,000 to $68,000 annually

The Systems Administrator at NCRi/CXAi is responsible for supervising the operation of a computer network of the organization and makes sure that servers function properly, that will allow both the employees and clients to communicate with each other, coordinate actions needed and look after essential tasks. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. This position will require onsite presence with the opportunity to work at home occasionally. We are looking to fill this position immediately.

Core Responsibilities (include, but not limited too)

  • Manage and review Solarwinds management platforms.
  • Manage the configuration of operating systems
  • Add, remove or update user credentials such as logins and passwords
  • Ensure the integrity of data storage and backup systems
  • Maintain the required internet connection, firewall and monitoring security tools
  • Respond quickly to security or usability concerns
  • Anticipate potential problems and taking action to solve them before they impact users when possible
  • Test softwares, review application logs, and document the network's configuration
  • Design, document, plan and execute systems upgrades, patches, etc as required.
  • Ensure continuous delivery of services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of systems performance

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related course
  • At least 2 years working experience as a system administrator
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis when troubleshooting potential system problems and identify mitigation/correction strategies
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Strong desire to learn and implement new technologies
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
  • Experience with Office 365 and other cloud based technologies
  • Experience with Solarwinds monitoring platform an asset.
  • Full time position with shared OnCall rotation.
