Who You Are:

• Journeyman Carpenter Ticket required
• Experienced and skilled carpenter with a background in commercial and/or institutional construction.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
• Proficient in using both electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
• Holder of a valid Standard First Aid Level C or higher.
• Safety-conscious and highly organized.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid and clean driver's license, with a willingness to travel to various sites.
• Additional tickets such as Zoom Boom and Skid Steer are an asset.

What You Will Do:

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring, and install walls and roofing systems.
• Fit and install trim, doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.
• Measure, cut, and join materials made of wood or wood substitutes.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.
