Cabin Resources Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in four main divisions: forestry, environmental operations, recreation solutions and wildfire management. We are currently looking to add a Timber Cruiser to our Forestry team.

Responsibilities:

  • Timber cruising, cruise plan submissions, final submissions and coordinating cruising crews
  • Reporting hardware and software issues, safely using handheld devices and filing
  • Committing to high safety standards that align with the Project Manager
  • This position is predominantly field-based

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A proven commitment to safety
  • Experience with Timber Cruising in the interior of BC
  • Registered or eligible for registration as Accredited Timber Cruiser or Accredited Timber Evaluator
  • Sound knowledge of the FLNRO Cruising Manual and associated legislation and regulations including familiarity with call grading procedures
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and legally allowed to work in Canada
  • A huge passion for forestry and be an awesome team member
  • All other forestry experience is considered an asset
