Job Description

As part of the Ticket Sales Team, your primary focus will be selling Toronto FC new season tickets. This includes, but is not limited to prospecting new business, working with current clients, hosting at Toronto FC games as well as collaborating with all ticketing verticals within our teams to improve the membership base. The successful candidate must be a proactive, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a high-paced business environment and shares our common purpose to unite and empower employees to create extraordinary moments for our fans and each other.

  • Develop prospects for memberships, group ticket sales & flex Packs through referrals, cold calls, direct mail, and current contacts.
  • Contribute to a collaborative sales culture that drives results across all properties, including, but not limited to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors, TFC, Argonauts, Premium & Global Partnerships.
  • Prepare and execute presentations to sell new ticket packages.
  • Develop prospects for sales through centers of influence, referrals, and appointments.
  • Manage Archticts ticketing system including proper ticket administration and balancing of the financial process.
  • Maintain client records, customer information files, and other related administrative duties through Salesforce.
  • Ensure customer and prospect contact with game-day sales efforts where applicable.
  • Meet or exceed ticket revenue objectives.
  • Perform promotional or service functions as required.
Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales with a consultative, solutions-based approach.
  • A post graduate degree or diploma in a business-related discipline preferred.
  • Previous sales experience with a preference for the team approach to selling.
  • Understanding of social networks and CRM with ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction.
  • Someone who understands selling to corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals throughout the Ontario market segments would be ideal.
  • Displays confidence and ability to make sales “cold” calls.
  • A natural at building rapport and trust with others both inside and outside of the organization.
  • An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction.
  • Effective interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Organized, independent, and a natural self-starter.
  • A creative problem solver, driven by results and alert to change.
  • Thrives under pressure and in a high-energy environment.
  • Proven ability to meet established goals and deadlines.
  • TicketMaster and/or ARCHTICS knowledge is an asset but not essential.
  • Be available to work weekends and be present in the MLSE office on a full-time basis.
