Salary:
Job Details / Responsibilities:
- Review to understand jobs with PM's and Estimators prior to start.
- Visit sites and meet with G.C.'s / owners to coordinated start dates, site logistics, project readiness and schedule.
- Report to PM of any issues (existing or potential), scheduling, possible extras.
- Introduce and orient Organization crews as well as sub contractors to jobs,
- Review scope, applications, sequencing/scheduling with the foreman.
- Be a point of contact between field crews / G.C. and owners/ Consultant / P.M. and management.
- Daily reporting on crew assignments/ locations of work.
- Reporting of site activities and progress when visiting sites.
- Weekly Safety reporting through E compliance and ToolBox Talks.
- Weekly Quality and productivity reporting
- Reviewing issues on job sites with G.C.'s and Consultants and aim to find resolutions by engaging appropriate management or field subject matter experts
- Preparing material, tools and logistics support before, during and after jobs.
- Responsible for roof measurements
- Perform quality inspection and site inspections after installation crew or sub-trade crew is complete.
- Coordinate start and end times for projects
- Ensure all deficiencies are noted and completed
- Ensure all workers have proper tools and material prior to start worksite
- Inspect all safety equipment to make sure it is properly maintained and utilized
- Ensure all employees have a valid safety records and are trained on proper procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Project Manager Experience 1 year (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years Canadian construction experience
- Strong communications skills and fluent in English language
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings , specifications.
- Experience with ICI, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional flat roofing
