Job DescriptionThe House of Commons Office of the Chief Executive Administrator is currently looking to staff the Director, Business Operations and Strategy position.
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of service delivery within the House of Commons? As the Director of Business Operations and Strategy, you will be at the forefront of ensuring integrated, high-quality management of vital programs and services.
The role serves as a strategic function by advising the Chief Executive Administrator on a wide range of key files.
This will include leading the conduct of research and the analysis of best practices and innovation in service delivery while collaborating with internal clients and stakeholders and industry experts. You will also have the opportunity to lead and/or support the implementation of improvements in processes and systems to enhance service delivery,

QualificationsEducation :
- Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma, or an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training.
Experience :
- Knowledge of the overall environment of the House of Commons and its mandate, values, culture, activities, structure, and business lines and clients business environment;
- Knowledge of the structure, membership, mandate, by-laws and procedures governing the Board of Internal Economy;
- Experience providing strategic advice, briefings and guidance to senior executives;
- Experience delivering multi-year programs/projects requiring change management;
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams;
- Experience in managing human, financial and materiel resources;
- Experience in conducting research and analyzing best practices for enhanced service delivery;
- Experience establishing governance, leading stakeholder engagement and managing client relationships.
