We are hiring a Full Time Receptionist to support our Mississauga office. Hours of work are Monday to Friday with alternate weekends afternoon and evening shifts. As a Receptionist you will answer and direct calls from a busy switchboard, greet visitors and provide general administrative support.

Job Description- Answer calls from a switchboard, screening and directing calls to appropriate party and message taking for those who do not want to leave a voicemail
- Ensure professional and courteous approach with clients, visitors and employees
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages including filing waybills appropriately
- Greet visitors in professional manner and notify appropriate person of their arrival
- Update monthly calendar with onsite and offsite courses, meetings, and seminars
- Verify phone numbers and addresses of clients for field staff
- Verify voicemail numbers for field staff and HCSS (Home and Community Care Support Services)
- Liaise with building management for maintenance requests and with security for parking issues
- May sort, date stamp, pickup and deliver mail to employees
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of previous reception and switchboard experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills and good written skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing is essential
