The Job:

The Business Development position is a collaborative role with responsibility and room for growth within FISPAN. FISPAN provides an exciting, fast-paced environment perfect for those who want to impact our growth and our culture of innovation. This role is dynamic.

This is a highly transparent and self-motivated role. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage key channel partners and the leads they bring to our business. This role has key responsibilities such as inbound and outbound lead management. The role works closely with the marketing team to design, build, and run outbound campaigns, and collaborate on key marketing initiatives and event planning. Additionally, this role works closely with the sales teams with the leads from these channels to funnel them into our key sales accounts.

The role requires outstanding verbal and written interpersonal skills. Dedicated curiosity and learning all about the B2B banking world, ERPs, accounting softwares, and enterprise selling techniques are critical to this role. This knowledge will need to be applied while also articulating and demonstrating the value proposition of FISPAN to our business clients and consultant partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Become an expert in FISPAN's products in context of our Partner ERPs, features, and service flows
  • Stay informed on banking trends, ERP platform services and functionality, and FISPAN competition
  • Source, qualify and conduct deep discovery with net new Consulting partners
  • Develop and execute on partnership GTM plans
  • Drive revenue through lead generation growth and being accountable for following the funnel
  • Daily metric tracking of performance management, utilize data to inform decisioning
  • Identify, build, and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders within a consulting firm and across our partners
  • Educate Consulting partners on FISPAN offerings and articulate the value props to them and to their clients
  • Hold monthly and quarterly business reviews with key partners
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Development, Product, and Partnership Management teams to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients and inform our product roadmap
  • Network and develop deep relationships within the Consultant ecosystem and serve as the voice of the Consultant to deliver best in class partnerships, services, and continue delivering value
  • Contribute to planning, attend, and at times lead the success of key partner events
  • Qualify business leads brought in by consultants and create a pipeline of qualified leads for bank partners

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in SaaS or technical sales, Partner Sales, Business Development, Partnership management or Channel Partnerships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Listens with intention to identify the motives of our partners and leverage consultative selling
  • Curious and has a knack for asking the right discovery questions for the situation to identify pain points
  • Dedication to tracking and follow through
  • Analytical and critical thinker who follows the data and use it to inform decisioning
  • Bias for action and eager to work in the fast paced environment of a start-up
  • A relationship builder
  • Previous experience with ERP products and accounting practices preferred
  • Proven track record as a top performer
  • Dedication to tracking performance, improving efficiency, and managing the funnel on a daily basis
  • Prior experience partnering with technical consultants, accountants, CFOs in a consulting, sales or partnership capacity is ideal
  • Ability to travel to support revenue-generating activities across partners and events

Compensation and Benefits Package

FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location.As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
