Job Title: Senior FP&A Analyst

Reporting directly to Skeena's Vice President, Finance, the Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to support the strategic objectives of the Company. The role involves working closely with the finance team, and other department leads to provide insights, improve financial performance, and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to collect and consolidate budgetary data.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals vs. budget/forecast and recommend corrective actions.
- Support long-term strategic planning by modeling financial scenarios, business cases, and investment opportunities.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and other financial metrics.
- Use financial systems (e.g., Excel, ERP, BI tools) to extract, analyze, and report financial data.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and operational reporting to management.
- Develop customized financial models and reports for investment analysis, resource planning, and project evaluations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the FP&A function and implement best practices.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of insights.
- Administer the Company's Equity Incentive Plan and Awards - All other duties as reasonably assigned

Education / Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent designation.
- 4-7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP and BI tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Work Location & Conditions

This is an office-based job, in Skeena's Corporate office located in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Monday to Friday schedule. Additionally, the job is in a fast paced, and at times demanding working environment, with having to manage multiple competing priorities. Some hybrid working arrangements may be considered. Periodic travel to Skeena's Eskay Creek site is required.
