WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
- Operate a variety of nanofabrication equipment, including but not limited to: deposition systems, lithography tools, etching systems, and characterization tools.
- Execute fabrication processes according to detailed procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop and optimize new processes.
- Maintain meticulous records of process parameters, equipment performance, and experimental results.
- Adhere to strict cleanroom protocols and safety guidelines.
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM
- Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in nanofabrication.
- Broad knowledge of multiple nanofabrication processes, including thin film deposition, wet processing, lithography, etching, and characterization.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Openness to work flexible hours in a cleanroom environment (this role is based on a 40-hour work week).
- Ability to work at multiple locations within the greater Vancouver Area.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Experience working in a shared-use facility, such as a university cleanroom, is preferred.
- Experience with specific nanofabrication techniques (e.g., atomic layer deposition, electron beam lithography, deep reactive ion etching).
- Experience with photonics/optical measurements is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis.
