The Education Advisor will require excellent communication and inter-personal skills in face to face and by phone; projecting a courteous and professional manner at all times when representing the company.
The Education Advisor role has core responsibility for:
- Dealing with walk-in enquiries and selling our courses & programmes to them.
- Answering (mainly by phone) prospective student enquiries received through our web site or any other marketing campaign: social media, google Adwords, other directories, etc.
- Updating the company CRM with all prospective student details, follow up information, sales, tasks, etc.
- Helping in all marketing strategies to promote Bayswater College in Toronto: Collaboration with other business, sponsorships, local fairs, etc.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to our students consistently.
- Keeping a good relationship with current students to manage their course extensions.
- Following the agreed internal processes and procedures and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
- Help with the distribution of the leads received in the department.
Knowledge, qualifications and experience
- An undergraduate degree focus on business, marketing, sales, language or tourism (desirable)
- Overseas studying/working experience, ideally with exposure to an international environment for 3-6 months.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- A second language is mandatory (Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean)
- A third language is desirable.
- Experience of working with international clients (desirable)
- Sales experience. Education industry or services (desirable).
- Customer service experience (desirable).
