We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Salesforce Administrator for 13-month maternity leave coverage. Reporting to the Director, Finance & Corporate Services, the Salesforce Administrator is a key part of CAREERS' IT department. The Salesforce Administrator actively supports the organization by monitoring and maintaining our Salesforce CRM system and data to ensure optimal performance, data integrity and security.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage relationship and contracts with third-party Salesforce developer.
  • Gather internal business requirements to guide developer.
  • Monitor and maintain CRM data quality and integrity.
  • Perform routine data cleansing and mass updates as needed.
  • Implement regularly review policies and procedures to ensure security of all data.
  • Create, assign, and maintain all user accounts including access to external user portals.
  • Assign and manage tasks, organizations, contacts, users, roles, teams, groups, permissions, etc.
  • Create and generate queries, reports, and dashboards, including specialized reporting for internal users as required.
  • Plan and perform regular, ongoing system maintenance and other routine tasks.
  • Provide end-to-end technical support, training, and problem resolution for internal and external users.
  • Create, communicate, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure CRM data-quality and security.
  • Regularly test and update disaster recovery and back-up procedures, and information security and control structures.
  • Provide input into value-additive third-party integrations.
  • Develop, deliver, and continually update CRM user training materials, and system documentation to help coach CAREERS Team Members in effective and efficient system use.
  • Provide expert input into IT policy development and updates.
  • Continually develop and grow personal, professional, technical knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce CRM platform and related integrations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce architecture, development, set up, administration, reporting, security, and efficiency.
  • Expertise in Microsoft O365 suite.
  • Technical knowledge of business intelligence and analytics solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, technology, and processes.
  • A technical, logical thought process with strong attention to detail.

Education/Experience

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator Certificate required.
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certificate considered an asset.
  • Salesforce Developer Certificate considered an asset.
  • Diploma in related information technology program and/or a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in a Windows and O365 environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce management systems including basic understanding of Query Languages, Flows, data maintenance, system administration.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (CRM) and Crystal Reports.
  • Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management considered an asset.
  • Experience with nonprofit processes considered an asset.
  • Satisfactory criminal record and child welfare checks are required.
