One of our clients in Brampton, ON is looking for an Industrial Millwright for their facility.

Shifts - Day

Responsibilities-:

• Perform the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical equipment and electrical distribution systems.

• Report any instances of food safety and quality issues to individuals with the authority to take necessary action.

• Ensure that all tasks are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations including GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA, and other established guidelines.

• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine the appropriate work procedures.

• Set up, align, disassemble, and relocate industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

• Inspect and scrutinize machinery and equipment to identify and investigate any irregularities or malfunctions.

• Install, troubleshoot, and uphold power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as programmable logic controls.

• Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to craft necessary parts for machinery overhaul, maintenance, or setup.

• Conduct routine tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and other forms of regular maintenance.

• Construct and assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using manual tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an Industrial Mechanic Millwrights (433A) License.

• A minimum of five years of recent experience in the trade and/or food industry.

• Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as the fabrication of parts.
