One of our clients in Brampton, ON is looking for an Industrial Millwright for their facility.
Shifts - Day
Responsibilities-:
Perform the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical equipment and electrical distribution systems.
Report any instances of food safety and quality issues to individuals with the authority to take necessary action.
Ensure that all tasks are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations including GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA, and other established guidelines.
Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine the appropriate work procedures.
Set up, align, disassemble, and relocate industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
Inspect and scrutinize machinery and equipment to identify and investigate any irregularities or malfunctions.
Install, troubleshoot, and uphold power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as programmable logic controls.
Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to craft necessary parts for machinery overhaul, maintenance, or setup.
Conduct routine tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and other forms of regular maintenance.
Construct and assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using manual tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Qualifications:
Possession of an Industrial Mechanic Millwrights (433A) License.
A minimum of five years of recent experience in the trade and/or food industry.
Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as the fabrication of parts.
