We are seeking a motivated Dev/Support Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud, Python, and Terraform to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, deployment, and support of cloud-based applications and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain applications on Google Cloud. Provide support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Utilize Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring best practices in scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain Python scripts for automation of deployment processes, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance. Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for processes, systems, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in a DevOps or support role, with a focus on cloud technologies.
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications in Google Cloud or DevOps practices.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
